Before making a fairy garden, there are a few things to keep in mind. Fairies love the outdoors, so you will most likely get a better result if you build one outside. You should probably build it out of natural materials that have fallen off trees etc., because fairies love nature, and do not want you to destroy it/pollute it. You should also make your fairy garden in the shade, that way fairies can enjoy their hangout place without having to be too hot or too cold.
Here are the materials you will need for your fairy garden
- A shady tree
- Twigs or sticks
- Flowers
- Water
- Rocks
- Seeds
- Leaves
- Plastic bottle
These are just suggestions for what to use. You can add your own touch or take away a few things.
First take your twigs and sticks, stick them into the ground under your shady tree, making a shape of some sort (ex. square). Be sure to leave an opening so that the fairies can walk in. Once you have your twigs and sticks set up, you can put leaves on top of them and make a roof. If you would like, you can leave and opening so that the fairy may fly in if he or she desires.
Now plant your seeds around the garden for decoration. You can put flowers and rocks around it for decoration. To ensure that the flowers don’t die, dig a hole and put a plastic bottle in it, and fill it with water, so you can put a flower or two in it.
